Terms of Service

The deal, in plain English. Effective October 31, 2026.

Who you're dealing with

These terms are between you and Bluebonnet Pixel LLC, doing business as Bluebonnet Sites ("I" and "me" below). Contact: [email protected].

The service

I build a website for your business from a free demo you approve, then host it, keep it running, and look after it. Your plan includes:

  • small edits, up to 5 per month: a text, photo, hours or price change, or similar, taking up to about 30 minutes each. Unused edits don't roll over. Just email me.
  • a monthly traffic report emailed to you, with no logins needed
  • free email forwarding at your domain (if you add Google Workspace, it replaces forwarding, since both can't run on the same domain)
  • support by email; I reply within 1 business day (Mon–Fri, excluding US federal holidays)

Free demo

The demo is free. If you don't approve it, you owe nothing, and no license to the demo's design or code is granted.

Price and billing

The price is a $99 one-time setup fee plus $99/month. Your first charge is $198 (setup + first month), and it is only charged after you approve your demo. After that, $99 is billed on the same day each month (or the last day of shorter months) until you cancel. When online payments are turned on, they'll be processed by Stripe. Prices don't include any sales tax that may apply.

Price changes

I'll give you 30 days' email notice before any price change. If you don't want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.

Changes to these terms

I'll give you 30 days' email notice before these terms change. If you don't want to continue under the new terms, you can cancel before they take effect.

No minimum term, and cancelling

There's no minimum term. Cancel anytime by emailing [email protected]. After launch, cancelling takes effect at the end of your current paid month: billing stops then, with no partial-month refunds. Your site stays up until then and comes down when the plan ends. If you cancel before launch, your plan ends right away, with the refund below.

Refunds

Launch means the day your site goes live on your domain. If you cancel before launch, your plan ends right away and I refund everything you've paid, including any sales tax charged. If launch happens more than a month after your first charge, I refund any later monthly charge billed before launch, unless launch is waiting on something from you. Your first charge isn't refunded after launch.

Your domain

Your domain is registered in your name. The registration and yearly renewals are included while you're on the plan. If you cancel, the domain stays yours through the rest of its current registration term; after that, renewing it is up to you. I'll point it wherever you want. You can move it to your own Cloudflare account any time after the first 10 days, or to another registrar after the standard 60-day lock after a new registration or transfer.

Your content

Your business name, logo, photos, and the text you provide stay yours. You confirm you have the right to use them, and you let me use them on your site while your plan is active. Text I write for your business is licensed to you while your plan is active. After you cancel, I'll send you a copy of your own content (photos, logo, and text you provided) on request.

Site design and code

The site design and code are built and owned by Bluebonnet Pixel LLC and licensed to you for use as your business website while your plan is active. The license ends when your plan ends, and the site files aren't handed over.

Optional add-ons

The business phone line (Quo) and branded email (Google Workspace) are optional services from other companies, set up in your own name. You pay Quo or Google directly at their standard prices, and their own terms apply. There's no markup from me, and my setup and management are included in your plan.

Texting needs a carrier (A2P 10DLC) registration for your business. I'll prepare and submit it with you. It needs your legal business details, and sole proprietors without an EIN must verify by text from their own mobile. Quo's carrier fees, which Quo bills you: $19.50 one-time registration, about $1.50/month ($2/month for sole proprietors, $3/month for non-profits), and $15 per resubmission. Approval is up to the carriers and usually takes a few business days, sometimes longer. By adding a line, you agree to text only people who contacted your business first (like a missed-call text-back) or opted in, and to honor STOP and HELP.

Service as-is

SERVICE AS-IS. To the extent the law allows, and apart from what these terms promise, the service is provided as-is, without any other warranty. I monitor uptime and fix problems as quickly as I reasonably can, but I don't guarantee the site will always be available or error-free.

Suspending or ending service

Once you're on a paid plan, I may suspend or end the service if a payment is still unpaid 14 days after I first email you about it. I may also suspend or end the service at any time if the site or an add-on is used for anything illegal. If the service ends, your domain stays yours through the rest of its current registration term, and I'll send you a copy of your own content on request, as described above.

Limit of liability

LIMIT OF LIABILITY. TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, MY TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ABOUT THE SERVICE, INCLUDING CLAIMS BASED ON MY OWN NEGLIGENCE, IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID ME IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, AND I'M NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS. This doesn't reduce any refund these terms promise you, and it doesn't limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, or intentional misconduct.

Definitions

A business day is Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays. Launch means the day your site goes live on your domain. A small edit is a text, photo, hours or price change, or similar, taking up to about 30 minutes.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Texas law. To the extent the law allows, any lawsuit about these terms or the service will be filed in a court in Hays County, Texas. Payments under these terms are payable and performable in Hays County, Texas. Nothing here takes away any right Texas law gives you to bring a claim in another county.
